The Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying potential leads for the sales team. This position involves proactive outreach, lead generation, and building initial relationships with prospects. The primary goal is to create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team to pursue.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Conduct targeted research to identify potential customers and decision-makers.
  • Use various channels (email, phone calls, social media) to generate and qualify leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing to leverage inbound leads and enhance lead generation efforts.

Outreach and Engagement:

  • Initiate contact with prospects through personalised and effective communication.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Engage in initial conversations to understand prospect needs and qualify their interest.

Qualification:

  • Assess the fit of leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand ideal customer profiles and refine qualification parameters.
  • Disqualify leads that do not meet the criteria to ensure a focused sales effort.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system.
  • Regularly update the sales team on the status of leads and opportunities.
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of leads to ensure a steady flow through the sales funnel.

Collaboration with Sales Team:

  • Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to understand sales strategies and priorities.
  • Provide valuable insights from prospect interactions to refine messaging and targeting.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Attend training sessions and actively seek opportunities for professional development.

Job requirements
