Job requirements

We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and tech-savvy Brand Ambassador to represent DVT Software UK at industry events, conferences, and networking meetups in the Tech and IT space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys engaging with people, and has a passion for software services and innovation. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a strong sales acumen and be able to drive sales growth through strategic networking and prospect engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate relevant Tech and IT events that align with DVT’s brand and business goals

  • Represent DVT Software UK at selected industry events, conferences, and networking functions

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders

  • Communicate DVT’s value proposition clearly and confidently to a technical and business audience

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities at events

  • Gather and document leads, contacts, and relevant insights from events

  • Negotiate and close sales deals with potential clients

  • Follow up with leads post-event via email, LinkedIn, or other appropriate channels

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach and messaging

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in CRM or tracking tools

  • Provide feedback on event effectiveness and suggest improvements for future engagements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a client-facing, networking, or ambassadorial role (preferably in tech or software)

  • Demonstrated success in sales or business development roles

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – confident, articulate, and engaging

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a relatable way

  • Highly organized with excellent administrative and follow-up skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Willingness to travel within the UK to attend events as needed

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and LinkedIn for professional outreach is a plus

  • Strong research skills to identify high-impact events and networking opportunities
