Job description

DVT is seeking proactive and detail-oriented Software Testers to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance, eager to learn, and capable of working independently. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate remotely with Business and Product Owners to understand requirements.

  • Perform thorough Requirement Analysis to inform test planning.

  • Develop and maintain Test Cases using tools such as Confluence, Gherkin, and Cucumber Studio.

  • Execute manual and automated Test Cases across various platforms.

  • Log, track, and report defects using JIRA.

  • Track time and progress using JIRA and Cadence.

  • Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to manage and test backlog items.

  • Conduct Integration, Exploratory, Functional, and Regression Testing on new developments.

  • Perform Website Testing and testing on Utilita’s in-house Windows-based system.

  • Document testing activities using Pandadocs and Mailtrap.

  • Conduct API Testing using Postman and Swagger.

  • Use SQL to validate and gather test data.

  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Present sprint changes to stakeholders during bi-weekly remote demos.

  • Engage in monthly knowledge-sharing sessions with fellow testers.

  • Provide weekly QA feedback to the Test Lead.
