Job description
We are looking for a highly creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented Design & Marketing Associate to support the Marketing Manager in delivering high-impact marketing, brand, design, content, and campaign initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only strong in graphic and multimedia design, but also confident in using AI tools to enhance design output, improve creative workflows, generate campaign concepts, and support modern marketing execution.
The successful candidate should be able to move comfortably between design production, marketing support, content development, campaign execution, internal communications, digital marketing assets, and event planning. They should have a strong eye for visual storytelling, understand how marketing functions operate, and be able to contribute ideas that support brand awareness, lead generation, employee engagement, and business growth.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Gauteng, supporting multidisciplinary creative and marketing requirements across digital, print, video, internal communications, events, and brand campaigns.

Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or a related creative role.
Experience working in a B2B environment or designing for professional services, technology, software, consulting, or corporate audiences.
A strong portfolio showing a variety of design work across digital, print, presentations, campaigns, social media, and video formats.
Experience creating design assets for marketing campaigns, email communication, social media, websites, internal communications, and branded collateral.
Basic experience in video editing, motion graphics, and audio production.
Experience using AI tools as part of the creative or marketing process would be highly beneficial.
Strong administration skills.
Design & Technical Skills
The candidate should be proficient in core design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other editing tools, including AI-enabled tools. The attached role specifically mentions Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, and AI-related editing tools.
Required skills include:
Strong graphic design capability across digital and print.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects.
Experience using Figma or similar design/prototyping tools.
Ability to design for social media, email campaigns, websites, presentations, print material, and internal communication.
Strong understanding of layout, composition, typography, colour theory, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
Basic video editing, motion graphics, and audio editing ability.
Ability to use AI tools to support design, content creation, ideation, image generation, image editing, and workflow efficiency.
Ability to prepare artwork correctly for different platforms, formats, and channels.
Desirable / Nice to Have
Experience with Webflow or other website design/build tools.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email or web design.
Experience creating internal communication or employee branding material.
Photography or illustration skills.
Experience using Canva, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, ChatGPT, Copilot, or other AI-enabled creative tools.
Experience designing for LinkedIn and other B2B marketing channels.
Experience supporting webinars, events, conferences, internal campaigns, or employer branding initiatives.
Basic understanding of content marketing, campaign planning, and digital marketing performance.
